Markus Bill has extensive travel experience on all five continents, and skills in Swiss, German and French languages will be a benefit to provide PRIME service. Born and raised in Berne, the capital of Switzerland. Schooling & graduate of Trade and Commerce apprenticeship in Berne. Moved to Vancouver in 1975. Began his career in the field of finance and auditing, working for CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce). Returned to Switzerland in 1981- worked as an Internal Auditor for Chase Manhattan Bank International in Geneva. In 1984 became a Part owner and Managing Director of his own sporting goods business - Ryffel Running, Switzerland's leading running & triathlon equipment sports company. Between 1982 and 1993, organized major international sporting events in Switzerland and was very successfully involved in establishing one of the strongest and largest running and triathlon communities in Europe. Tour Organizer to major sporting events around the world (Marathons, Olympic Games, Track & Field & Cross Country Championships & Events) - Moved back to Vancouver in late 1993. Was appointed Director of Event Management of The Landmark Group, Canada's leading sports event & marketing company. Responsible for the overall implementation of The Landmark Group Pacific events, including The Vancouver Sun Run, The Vancouver Sun Jerome Track Classic, The Vancouver In-Line Skating Festival, The Vancouver Canucks Fan Appreciation Day Celebrations. Formed International Sports Tours in 1995, a tour operating company, specialized in active sports vacation tours for recreational athletes out of Europe.
